How to publish

Option 1: Obsidian Plugin Panel

  • Click the rocket icon in the left ribbon to open the publish panel
  • Click "Publish to Web" to sync and deploy

Option 2: Command

  • Open Command Palette (Ctrl/Cmd + P)
  • Run "Publish Notebook to Web"

Option 3: Terminal

/Users/pen/Documents/Notes/publish-note.sh

Folder Structure

Every folder in this vault becomes its own top-level section in the sidebar:

Templates

The Civontology Templates plugin auto-adds frontmatter to new notes:

  • New notes get title and description
  • Section index.md files get sidebar: frontmatter
  • Draft notes can be hidden with sidebar: hidden: true

Plugin Features

The plugin (.obsidian/plugins/civontology-templates/) provides:

  • Publish Panel — right sidebar panel with publish button, template buttons, and quick links
  • Ribbon Icon — rocket icon to open the publish panel
  • Commands — Create Note, Create Section, Create Draft, Insert Templates
  • Auto-templates — new notes automatically get frontmatter
